He married Josey Margaret Barber. (Josey Margaret Barber is #1342.) Josey died 1914.

Jasper Long and Josey Margaret Barber had the following child:

• 2 i. Elsye Faye² Long (#1340) was born January 25, 1895. Elsye died September 2, 1966 at 71 years of age. Her body was interred Haxtun, Colorado. She married Jesse Emmet Winemiller Missouri, February 4, 1914. (Jesse Emmet Winemiller is #1339.) Jesse was born February 19, 1890. Jesse was the son of Benjamin Winemiller and Mary Rebecca Davidson. Jesse died February 10, 1964 at 73 years of age. His body was interred Haxtun, Colorado. (See Jesse Emmet Winemiller for the continuation of this line.)
